Border Tire is hiring a Pick-Up amp; Delivery Driver in El Paso, TX!/strong/ppThestrongPick-up amp; Delivery Driver/strongis responsible for loads, transporting deliveries, and/or picks up tires and equipment for the center to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner./ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pul liMust adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws./li liPicks up and delivers tires and parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors./li liChecks with the Service Manager and delivery dispatch before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries./li liVerifies that invoice matches packing slip or invoice for each delivery or pick-up./li liChecks any payments received with the invoices for each delivery./li liKeeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Requests recipients signature on each delivery entry./li liLoads / Unloads truck as necessary. Promptly turns in all paperwork./li liHandles basic maintenance of the truck including filling the tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed./li liAdvises Service Manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance./li liProvide excellent customer service./li liInspecting, protecting and maintaining company assets, merchandise, vehicles, building and people./li liSuccessfully maintaining a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pick-ups made./li liFollow all plant safety rules and attend required training as scheduled./li liWear all PPE required for the job and comply with all company policies and procedures./li liMaintain regular and punctual attendance and attend required training as scheduled./li liWork cooperatively with others./li liWork overtime and schedule hours as assigned./li liMust have a current, valid drivers license for the state in which the employee performs his or her driving duties./li liMust maintain a clean driving record, i.e., must remain insurable under our companys liability insurance policy./li liOther duties may be assigned by management./li/ulpstrongQualifications:/strong/pul liValid State Drivers License; must meet insurability standards./li liMust successfully pass background and drug test pre-employment screening./li liClean driving record./li liHigh School Diploma or Equivalent./li liFlexible schedule - must be available to work some Saturdays./li liMust be able to utilize both, manual and automatic transmission vehicles./li liPrevious light truck driving experience./li liBe reliable and professional./li liExcellent customer service skills./li liAbility to thrive in a busy, fast-paced retail environment./li/ulpstrongJob Benefits:/strong/pul li401(k)/li liDental Insurance/li liHealth Insurance/li liLife Insurance/li liPaid Time Off/li liTuition Reimbursement/li liVision insurance/li/ulpstrongBenefit Conditions:/strong/pul liOnly full-time employees are eligible./li/ulp/ppstrong*** We are available when you need us most: 24 hours a day / 7 days a week / 365 days a year. ***/strong/p Pay Range: 15.00- , General Benefits:
